ROUSING SPEECHES AT BIRMINGHAM MEETING
Sunday October 24th 2004

The latest Birmingham meeting was well attended and members listened to five speakers.
They spoke on various themes within a nationalist framework covering a wide variety of subjects.

John O’Brien, National Activities Organizer (above, standing), chaired the meeting and before introducing the first speaker, voiced his concern over the number of mosques he had passed on his way to the venue.
He told his listeners that he was dismayed to see such a change on the landscape of a city that had heralded the Industrial Revolution. It was, he added, like walking into an alien environment.

Adam, Bristol Area Group Leader, was the first speaker of the day.  His prime message was for a united front among nationalists to fight the threatened take-over of our country by alien
forces. He urged people to stand up and be counted instead of leaving it to a select few. He deplored the fact that people, rightly so, should be prosecuted for animal cruelty, while agonizing ritual slaughter was permitted.
Adam, a recent member, is a young man from whom we will be hearing a lot more. He has all the makings of a first-class speaker and we shall give him every opportunity to make himself known on the nationalist scene.

Ursula Rodgers, the West Midlands Area Organizer, opened her speech by recounting the horrific incident at a local school where an 11-year-old Asian pupil threatened to behead a white 7-year-old. The full forces of law were flung against the evil little perpetrator - he was suspended from school. Big deal!  Apparently, he was under the age of responsibility or some such nonsense and suspension or expulsion was the only punishments that could be inflicted.
Ursula pointed out that while we are always campaigning against immigration and asylum-seekers, we should not forget the evils of the drug trade. While it is an obvious threat to health and leads to crime to feed the addiction, the money accumulated by the various cartels ends up laundered in foreign banks never to come back into circulation. The drug trade is a serious threat to our economy.

Keith Axon, ex-BNP Birmingham Area Organizer told a familiar tale of accusation, condemnation and expulsion that we have seen over and over again.  He told the meeting that the BNP was earmarked for destruction from within; a view held by many of us!  He questioned the reason that Griffin had removed a proscription against homosexuals in the BNP manifesto. Was it, he asked, to do with the accusation from Martin Webster that they had once been lovers?  He described Griffin as a man in the wrong place at the right time!  He called for the resurgence of racial nationalism and the enforcement of a strong policy of repatriation.  Keith added that he condemned the leaders of the Anglican Church as spineless who would not realise the eminent dangers of Islam.

After Keith’s speech came a collection and a short interval. The money raised from the collection was to be used by the West Midlands regional branch for expansion.

Peter Rushton, National Press Officer, always a very popular speaker, commented on the sudden decline of the UKIP. Since the last local elections it would appear that the UKIP has done its job by splitting the nationalist vote and, with the new promises by the Tories to keep Britain independent from Europe together with divisions within its own ranks, has somewhat retreated from the active scene.
Peter went on by deploring the action of the Blair government to send more troops to Iraq. He said that there was no reason whatsoever for more British lives to be lost. A sentiment that drew wide applause from the audience.  He told of the days that the BNP had adopted the old slogan from the original BNP, For Race and Nation, no longer, however, was it to be seen on any present-day BNP publications. He concluded by saying that moderation had no place in the policies of nationalist parties.

John Wood, National Organizer, was appalled at Blair’s decision to send more troops to Iraq, this, he said was another example of U.S. involvement into our affairs.  When the jew tells Bush to jump, Bush not only asks, “How high?” but he adds, “And what can I get you on the way down?  John Wood, always a strong opponent of the war against Saddam suggested that the common enemy wasn’t Iraq but the bandit state of Israel!
John went on to say that this wasn’t the first time that the perfidious jew had conned us. Not satisfied with pushing to war with Germany resulting in crippling casualties among our troops but now expected to act as the cat’s-paw again! He said that the jew is prepared to fight to the last British soldier!  We are not going to do it again! he cried, We are not going to bleed for Israel!
Touching on the arrest and the charging of Abu Hamza with inciting racial hatred, John Wood said that out of the dozen charges levelled against him, on how many would he be convicted? What sort of sentence would he receive?  He said that it was possible that he would be deported, thus preventing the U.S. of the chance of extradition. It would be someone else’s problem and Blair would come up smelling of roses.

There was a something for everyone at this meeting; a wide selection of speakers, a merchandising table, which did a brisk trade and a convivial atmosphere in a friendly pub. What more could anyone wish for?
