ARE YOU WHITE?
THEN YOU ARE OBSCENE AND OFFENSIVE ACCORDING
TO THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION!

The White Nationalist Party’s recent application to register as a political party for the purpose of standing in elections has been rejected by the government’s ‘Electoral Commission’ [EC]! On what grounds? That the name could be deemed offensive and obscene under the political climate engendered by the 1976 Race Relations Act.

The £150 registration fee, which the party paid, has of course been kept.

For well over a year, the WNP has been putting out thousands of leaflets, stickers and posters that have never been deemed to be offensive. The White Nationalist Party name is known throughout the length and breadth of the land.

This is a POLITICAL decision. The Electoral Commission is not suggesting the WNP has broken any laws by having the word “White” in its name, just that standing in elections could be offensive to what we suppose to be “ethnic minorities”.

This is political bigotry at its worst. It is one step away from banning the use of the word ‘White’. They have certainly banned it for electoral purposes. Would they have done the same if a Black Nationalist Party or an Asian Nationalist Party had applied – we very much doubt it.

We also have a myriad of newspapers and media exclusively dedicated to catering for specific racial requirements. “Asian Voice” and “Black Voice” newspaper spring to mind. At four o’clock every day, Radio Leeds becomes Asian Radio. Sky TV has Black and Asian channels. Where do we Whites fit into this? Because we are not YET a minority in our own country? The projec- tion is that we will be after 2060! The WNP cannot now stand in elections though the name goes on. It may be other avenues such as a new party name for elections will have to be looked at.

No other group, Searchlight, the far left, the anti-racism brigade or the police have deemed the name “White Nationalist Party” offensive – its just a statement of aims – a Nationalist Party aimed at protecting the interests and aspirations of the White folk of Britain who have no voice in the major parties which fall over backwards to accommodate anti-White sentiment. The WNP does not and will never advocate racial hatred, but stresses LOVE of our own people first.

The EC have looked on this as discriminatory behaviour, but still register Islamic organisations and a host of other offbeat groups. A White Nationalist Christian could not join an Islamic party, so why single out the White Nationalist Party as having an offensive name for electoral purposes?

Make no mistake, as we have said earlier this is a purely political decision made by a bunch of multi-racialist liberals who run the Electoral Commission and who are the only sort of folk who could possibly be offended by the use of the word “White”. Has it come to the point where we dare not now even mention the colour of our own skin? White Pride? Forget it! The Electoral Commission, a pawn of New Labour and THEIR hidden masters view the term as obscene.

Welcome to the WNP, an obscenity in a sick land gone mad!

Dear Sirs

APPLICATION TO REGISTER AS A POLITICAL PARTY

Thank you for submitting fonn RPl UK applying to register the White Nationalist Party as a political party with The Electoral Commission. I apologise for the delay in responding to your application.

When considering any application to register a description the Commission must comply with the require- ments of the Political Parties, Elections & Referendums Act (PPERA) 2000. Section 28 of the Act states;

"Where a party sends an application to the Commission, the Commission shall grant the application unless in their opinion the party proposes a registered name which-

(a) would either

(i) be the same as that of a party which is already registered in the register in which that party is applying to be registered, or

(ii) be likely to result in electors confusing that party with a party which is already registered in respect of the relevant part of the United Kingdom,

(b) comprises more than six words,

(c) is obscene or offensive,

(d) includes words the publication of which would be likely to amount to the commission of an offence,

(e) includes any script other than Roman script, or

(f) includes any word or expression prohibited by order made by the Secretary of State after consulting the Commission, or it appears to the Commission that the party has failed to adopt a scheme approved under section 26,"

I must advise you that the Commission is minded to reject your application for the registration of the 'White Nationalist Party' because, in our view, the proposed name is offensive on the grounds that it is based on colour and contrary to the principles of public policy as set out in the Race Relations Act 1976 as amended. I can offer you my assurances that the Commission has carefully considered this issue before reaching this view, However, should you wish to make representations to the Commission regarding the content of this letter we would be happy to consider any views you have. Please advise me within ten days of receipt of this letter if you wish to make such representations or provide an alternative description.

Yours sincerely,

Conrad Wells,
