WNP WELCOMED IN PLYMOUTH
August 2nd 2003

On Saturday 2nd August 2003, Plymouth welcomed South West WNP activists onto the streets. A great day was had with over a thousand leaflets handed to the people of Plymouth with many views were shared and the outcome was an agreement on many issues. The Euro Referendum leaflet caused a few discussions, many in agreement with us, and as the day was finishing, local asylum seekers were moved on by our members [due to a nice headbutt]. The locals didn't bat an eyelid, in fact you could say they were glad as the unwelcome guests were moved on for once!

The day was a resounding success with stickers placed in various locations. After a while the police caught up with the team of activists and took a selection of leaflets to, as they said, 'study the contents'. After the formal PNC checks, we were allowed on our way and the Firkin doghouse played host.

Thanks to all who turned up for the turnout at such a short notice, unfortunately no pictures were saved when the camera messed up.
