WNP HOLDS ITS FIRST SHEFFIELD MEETING
January 31st 2004

Sheffield WNP hosted its first meeting on the 31st January 2004which was well attended with over thirty members present.

The meeting was held in premises adjacent to the city centre within a short distance from the railway station.
John O’Brien, the National Activities Organiser, chaired the meeting and welcomed members old and new who had turned out for the event.

Peter Rushton, the National Press Officer spoke of the current political climate and warned that Asian violence was likely to escalate in view of the reluctance of the police and and the government to curb their behaviour. He envisaged a situation that would shortly become uncontrollable, as the authorities appeared to be afraid to act against ethnic unrest.

He saluted the memories of the white martyrs like Gavin Hopley of Oldham and Ross Parker of Peterborough who were foully murdered by Asian thugs. He laid the blame fairly and squarely on the shoulders of the Conservative Party for turning its back on the problems after repeated warnings about the dangers of race-mixing and uncontrolled immigration.

After Mr. Rushton’s speech, there was a collection which raised over £60, followed by a short interval.

John Wood, the National Organiser addressed the meeting outlining the changing face of the country as he saw it. He said that he was as a stranger in a strange land, not recognising the place of his youth and seeing alien cultures replacing English ones and he feared for the nation’s survival.

He went on to draw attention to the failed policies of the old parties and to criticise the British National Party in their election performances. He spoke of the wasted efforts of many rank-and-file members of the BNP who, after months of dedicated commitment to enable candidates to gain council seats, saw those elected candidates fall by the wayside due to petty squabbles, resignations and expulsions.

He compared the BNP constitution with our own and stressed that a strong and determined party based on a leadership system was the only practical way forward.

After the meeting, it was announced that two area organizers had been appointed; one for South Yorkshire and one for North Wales. This is another indication that existing areas are expanding and new ones being created. Indeed, the WNP is now well established as a true Nationalist party with a hard-line undiluted policy on all major issues.
