AntiChildPorn.org – not quite what they say on the tin!

 If you were into child porn and also wanted a cover for your perverted  activities, then what better thing to do then to set up a web site apparently attacking child pornography and then ask people, particularly children, to send you child porn?

 Yet that, according to respected best selling author Carolyn Meinel, is precisely what 'Natasha Grigori' and her cohorts at antichildporn.org is doing!

 Ms Meinel is a highly regarded investigative IT journalist with a very  impressive C.V. She is also the author of the mega-selling 'Happy hacker'  and Uberhacker' series of computer books.

 We have spoken to her on the phone and she is clearly no fool.

 Yet these are precisely the extraordinary allegations Ms Meinel is levelling at the controversial shadowy group, antichildporn.org.

 It DOES seem very strange that the foul-mouthed Ms Grigori and her gang constantly make appeals for 'evidence' of child porn sites to be sent to them i.e. child porn itself, yet they have NEVER given evidence in
a SINGLE criminal trial against alledged child pornographers!

 How can this be?

 They have been in operation for over two years and claim to have staff (including hackers) all over the world including in Britain. Or do they?

 So what are they doing with the huge volume of child porn they are amassing then?

 When we challenged them on this, one of their board members, Doug Stead (dstead@tri-m.com www.tri-m.com) , who has been specifically discredited by Ms Meinel, as his CV is all lies  apparently, told us that they had indeed never given evidence in a single  trial and, in fact, never would as they value their own safety!

So, at the very least, they are a bunch of cowards who 'run away' when it comes to 'the crunch'

 But if what Ms Meinel alledges is indeed true, then they are a bunch of child porn loving perverts themselves!

 Ms Meinel claims that one of their directors has been arrested and charged with the possession of child pornography!

 Our reporter was involved with antichildporn.org as a press officer for some time and formed deep misgivings about them himself

 One the one occasion when 'Natasha' persuaded him to enter their internet chat room, he was appalled to be the subject of overt sexual banter e.g. 'Haxzor fancies your bottom Ian!' etc., etc. Our reporter was made to feel very uncomfortable by this and was deeply shocked, not because he is at all narrow minded, but because he felt that it was totally inappropriate public behaviour or an organisation which claims to be fighting sexual abuse.  They need to 'be whiter than white' themselves otherwise they can be accused of being hypocrites at the very least.

In our reporter's two years with the group he never met a single member of the group himself. Natasha made no attempt to introduce him to any other members and he was only phoned once by another British member. They
claim to have 'good links with law enforcement' but in reality this seems to just consist of attending the same computer crime conferences as the police. There is NO evidence at all of any endorsement of their activities by ANY law enforcement agencies anywhere in the world.

 We plan to investigate these 'dodgy' self appointed guardians of public morals further so watch this space!

 Antichildporn.org disintegrating!

 Founder and leader Natasha Grigori (above)  has, according to their web site, taken a leave of absence for unspecified medical reasons. Their webmaster has quit. According to our sources, she quit when she realized she was being exploited. The remainder of Antichildporn.org is trying to cover it up.

A Federal investigation is rumoured to be in progress. It happens to be child sexual abuse to recruit children to troll the Web for porn and report instances of kiddie porn. In the case of Antichildporn.org, these children
were not even reporting kiddie porn to the authorities. Instead, they report directly to a form on the Antichildporn.org web site. Under questioning, the  leaders of Antichildporn.org were unable to cite a single instance of actual prosecutions arising from these reports.

Who the heck are these guys? Natasha is an alias. According to our sources, she is well-meaning, but naive. Most of the rest of the AntiChildPorn points of contact use aliases.

Doug Stead, who is listed as their "Vice Chairperson," was careless enough to leave a message on Carolyn Meinel's answering machine in which he claimed to be "The director" (not even "a" director) "of the International Society for Policing Cyberspace." Of course, as a reporter, I (Carolyn) am saving that tape.

 Since he was not listed on the Society for Policing Cyberspace web site, I spoke with him over the phone (604-527-1100) to try to clear up the problem. He directed me to http://polcyb.org, the same site I had been look at, which claims to represent that organization. He said it was, in fact, the web site of the organization he claims to direct. "Just phone them, they'll vouch for me," he said.

 I phoned one of the people listed there as a director, Phil Ortega, CEO of World net Technologies. He has never heard of Stead. And Stead is not listed anywhere on their web site.

 I have asked around the computer forensics community. They have never heard of Stead. I asked Stead for his credentials in forensics. He first gave out the name of some university, then back pedalled and said he was not a forensics person.

Are any of those people at AntiChildPorn for real? Will they someday turn up on our Busted! page? We hope SOMETHING will happen to set an example. Adults shouldn't recruit children to sift through porn sites for them.
