EPITAPH TO A WARRIOR
FOR IAN STUART DONALDSON R.I.P.
Steeped in the heritage of our forefathers old,
He wrote his songs so our story could be told.
Remembered forever in the words of a song,
So we cannot forget the race to which we belong.
"Suddenly, if I'm forced to take my leave,
Will you still carry on with the things that we believe?
Suddenly if they take my life away,
Will you still be fighting to win a brand new day?"
Prophetic words of a hero who knew he would die
His songs now remain, the Warrior's battlecry.
We know that for him we must keep on fighting,
Remember his sacrifice with each cross we're lighting.
Play his songs out loud to stir the heart,
before we do battle, and tear the system apart.
Make them pay for what they have done,
Stolen from us a leader, our own Odin's son.
lan Stuart, we remember, with each song we play,
For you, we go on fighting, to win a brand new day!
