As is now
widely known throughout and beyond the movement, Eddy was attacked in
January 2006 by 9 Reds. The attack took place in Headingley, Leeds,
when
Eddy and fellow veteran White Nationalist Ken S----- were acting as
Senior Marshals at the re-direction Point for the 22 January Leeds –
Bradford BPP Meeting. Having defended themselves as best they could,
Eddy and Ken were kicked to the ground. Eddy was hit across the back of
the head by a heavy bottle. The bottle shattered and has left Eddy with
a nasty scalp wound resulting in 12 stitches and excessive bleeding.
Discharged from hospital after several hours’ treatment, he is
naturally shaken still and has taken the firm decision to undertake a
prolonged period of rest and recuperation.
The assault
on Eddy and Ken was carried out by members of Antifa, the network of
Left – Anarchist groups who have declared themselves committed to
opposing British White Nationalists with violence. More specifically,
we believe that the attackers belong to the West
Yorkshire – based 635 Group (led by Mark Barnsley, see
below). The leaders of this group, and their activities, are well known
to us. Information about the group is now in the hands of the CID and
more information pertinent to the attack, which will persuade the
Police to show greater interest in pursuing an investigation, has been
unearthed by BPP Security.
Anxious to
stem growing support for the BPP in the Bramley Ward of West Leeds, members and supporters of the 635
Group recently leafletted and put up stickers in Bramley’s
Wyther and Rossefield estates. Local BPP activists have simply revived
the distribution of BPP notices and leafletting operations will
continue as scheduled.
The 635
Group has also been boasting about how it forced a private company
hosting a central Leeds BPP mailbox to close that mailbox. This was a
hollow ‘victory’ in that we had long before agreed to cease renting the
above mailbox and would not have renewed this year’s rental contract.
Unlike
Antifa and the illegally constituted 635 Group, the BPP is a legally
registered, national political party and will stand candidates in the
May 2006 Municipal Elections. Unlike Antifa and the 635 Group, we are
not an assortment of blinkered, single – issue groups. Nor do we,
unlike the website of the 635 Group, advocate or publicly incite others
to commit acts of political violence.
Thanks are offered,
meantime, for the many messages of support and expressions of concern
received by Eddy and Ken from fellow White Nationalists in the UK and
overseas.
In the wake of the above
assault and in keeping with already – agreed New Year re-structuring
plans, a number of National Organiser duties are being devolved to
senior BPP officers.
The Struggle, to conclude, continues. Our
enemies may think themselves the winners of a cowardly – inflicted
skirmish but the Final Victory, comrades, WILL be ours.
